Tip #2

This is for Manga Studio! (I have 4.0 so idk if it's different in others but)
I don't think that you should use that one Brush A for hair lighting! Or at least completely. It's that one brush that's almost the same as Airbrush?
I used to use this (and Airbrush in other programs) to light hair, but it doesn't look very nice. This brush works a lot better for if you want a character to have multicolored hair or something, or for making eyes light up.

Using the airbrush for hair:

Using other tools:

Doesn't it look cuter and more even?

Well, that's all I guess...

Manga Studio 4.0 Review

I'm not very good at reviewing, but I will try...

This program is actually very good! It has lots of tools/brushes, good quality, cool tones, and works with 3D models. I have barely used it for making manga, but I use it to draw for about 75% of my drawings.

What I like about it: It is very easy to use! You may have to adjust the settings, but the setup is very easy to understand and remember. I like that it automatically separates your sketches from your actual drawing, so you are just able to make changes to the sketches without messing with drawing layers. It has most of the main functions of programs like PT Sai from what I've seen.
Another thing I like is all of the brushes, they are very useful to make things happy, creepy, sad, pretty... anything to add extra detail!

What I don't like: Hm... well I have had problems exporting my drawings, so that was kind of a problem, but I easily fixed that by restarting my computer. I wish that is had some more drawing tools, like how Firealpaca has multiple airbrushes, watercolors, blurring, symmetry and smudging. But I can work okay without it and I guess I can use both programs if I want to lol

I haven't actually used 3D models with this, so I'm not sure if it works well/is easy to use, but I know that this program does have that feature.

IDK how much it costs, but it doesn't cost much ^_^

Tip #1

This is a tip for using MS Paint:
When drawing, there are two ways to erase a colored sketch and only leave an outline.

1- You can put the color you want to erase in Color 1 (keep color 2 white) and then right click and hold while you erase. It only erases that one color.

2- This second way is more complicated.
First, select all and invert color (right click the picture for this option). Now go up to file- properties- and then change the color to Black and White instead of color. This only works with a black outline. The instructions can also be found in the description of the video below:
